                                                                                            Special Town Meeting

The Special Town Meeting was called to order by First Selectman John Hodge at 5:00 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, the call of the meeting was read by Janice Zackeo, Town Clerk. Michelle DeLuise made a motion to accept the call as read, seconded by Susan Chapman. Call passed by voice vote.

First Selectman John Hodge called for nominations for moderator. Michelle DeLuise made a motion to nominate Susan Chapman, seconded by Janice Zackeo. Michelle DeLuise made a motion to close nominations, seconded by John Hodge, approved by voice vote. Susan Chapman was approved as moderator.

Moderator Chapman read Resolution #1: 
        Resolution that an additional appropriation, not to exceed $75,000 for Public Works snow removal, materials, supplies and overtime as approved by the Board of Finance and Board of Selectmen be approved.

Janice Zackeo made a motion to move Resolution #1 to the floor, seconded by Michelle DeLuise, approved by voice vote. Moderator Chapman opened Resolution #1 for discussion. After discussion by Michelle DeLuise and John Hodge; Michelle DeLuise made a motion to close discussion, seconded by John Hodge, unanimously approved. John Hodge made a motion to call the question, seconded by Michelle DeLuise. After a voice vote, Moderator Chapman declared Resolution #1 approved.

Michelle DeLuise made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Janice Zackeo, approved by voice vote. Meeting adjourned at 5:13 p.m.
