Department Profile

The New Fairfield Resident Trooper’s Office is a twenty-four hour law enforcement service. At all times there are at least 2 Troopers or Officers working. We are located at 302 Ball Pond Rd. in New Fairfield. The Officers/Troopers are dispatched both by New Fairfield dispatch and by Troop A in Southbury. We provide a large variety of services including but not limited to criminal investigations accident investigations, safety programs, building tours, and informational talks. We are also backed by all of the resources of the Connecticut State Police. We have a full time dedicated Sergeant from the State Police in town as well as six additional resident troopers, dedicated to town twenty-four hours a day seven days a week. The town also employs six full time New Fairfield Officers. Both groups work together to bring a unique representation of law enforcement to the town of New Fairfield.
