BEACH INFORMATION:

Starting June 23rd the Town Park/Beach will open full-time Sunday through Saturday 11am-6pm and on Wednesdays 11-8pm.
 
Beach passes are available for purchase online at https://ctnewfairfieldweb.myvscloud.com/webtrac/web/ , at the Town Park Beach, or by calling the P&R Office at 203-312-5633.

 

PLEASE NOTE: CHECK AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED ONLINE AND IN THE OFFICE. A 2.65% CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE WILL BE APPLIED WHEN USING A CREDIT CARD AS FORM OF PAYMENT IN THE OFFICE OR ONLINE. CASH IS ACCEPTED AT SPECIAL EVENTS ONLY.

Department Profile

It is the Parks and Recreation Department's responsibility to develop and offer a wide variety of quality recreational, education, cultural and special events to the public at the lowest possible cost while servicing all age groups in the Town. All of our programs, including the Town Beach and Summer Day Camp, run on what is referred to as a self-sustaining account that means exactly that. All fees collected are applied to the total cost of the programs including summer staff and instructor salaries, facility rentals, program supplies, brochure printing, as well as our department's part time administrative assistant..
